Privacy policy
Effective October 7, 2026
This policy explains how Lumière OS ("we", "us") handles information on this website, lumiereos.app. It does not cover the Lumière OS software that spas use to run their business. Information a spa puts into the software, including its clients' details, is governed by that spa's customer agreement with us, and we handle it on the spa's behalf.
What we collect
- What you send us. If you use the Get started form or email us, we receive what you provide: your name, spa name, email, phone number, number of locations and your message.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when any page loads, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running.
We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers or social media pixels. The site's fonts and images are served from our own site, so no third party is contacted when a page loads.
How we use it
We use what you send us to reply to you, to set up and support your free trial, and to tell you about Lumière OS if you've asked us to. We use server logs to protect the site and fix problems. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Who else handles it
We use these service providers, only to run this website and our email:
- Render hosts the website and keeps the server logs.
- Formspree delivers Get started form submissions to our inbox, when the form is sent through them.
- ImprovMX forwards email sent to our lumiereos.app addresses.
- Google (Gmail) hosts the inbox where those emails are read.
- Resend sends the emails we write from our lumiereos.app addresses.
Each handles information under its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
How long we keep it
We keep your messages and contact details for as long as we need them to talk with you and for our business records. If you become a customer, your customer agreement covers what happens next. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can ask us to stop contacting you. Email hello@lumiereos.app and we'll respond. We won't treat you differently for making a request. If you live in California or another state with privacy laws, you have these rights under those laws too.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. This site doesn't track visitors across other websites and has no trackers of its own, so it behaves the same way whether or not the signal is sent.
Children
This website is for spa owners and their teams. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we'll delete it.
Security
The site is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and we limit who can read the messages you send. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update it on this page and change the effective date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll note it at the top of the page for a reasonable time.
